Many may wish to go through that thinking path as academia or a philosopher, but I refuse to tow that path irrespective of the temptation that comes with it.
The adage “show me the heroes that your youth look up to, and I will tell you the future of your country” is indeed an insight that every well-meaning Nigerian adult should ponder about.
Who do our teens look up to? Instagram models? TikTok stars? yahoo boys? corrupt politicians?
Kindly evaluate your child and the TRUTH would stand bare in your face.
Who would come to our aid? Who will bail the cat? This question runs silently in the hearts of many families who do not know where to seek help.
Frankly, I did not intend to remind you about the ills in our society without bringing you the good news.
What is the good news? some may ask. The good news is that Unveiling Africa Heritage Foundation UVA has come to our rescue!
She presents to us a tested and proven vehicle for youth transformation. A club and program that answers pertinent questions that form our identity and pilot our positive growth and development as a people. She presents to us her most beloved and cherished first-fruit, her youth-driven initiative, her leadership club – The Transformers Club.
Transformers Club is a youth leadership club that nurtures young people to become well-rounded leaders who are globally competitive, culturally grounded, and agents of social change.
This club has proven to be a vehicle and catalyst for change in young people with a number of activities and programs designed to transform a normal African teenager into a global leader.
Transformers club focuses on Leadership, History, and Community service as key concepts and the tripod on which the club builds.
