Chizoba Imoka

Executive Director
Chizoba is the Executive Director of UVA. She holds a Masters in Educational Administration and International Development Education from the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing a PhD. Chizoba’s excellence and contributions in the community, professional life and academia has gained recognition. She is the recipient of the 2013 Heroes Award for Selfless Service to Africa, Global Citizenship Award from the University of Alberta International, Teamwork Award from Alberta Transportation and the BBPA Minerva Scholarship for academic excellence. Chizoba is a Junior Fellow at Massey College in University of Toronto.

Abdul-Aziz Garuba

Operations Director
Aziz is a finance professional specifically interested in strategy and development. Aziz holds a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a focus on Accounting and is a Chartered Professional Account (CPA). Aziz is excited about the passion and dedication UVA has for promoting social change through today’s youth. As a member of the UVA team, Aziz serves as Operations Director.

Raphael Imoka

Communications & Marketing Director
Raphael has been volunteering actively with UVA in several capacities over the past two years. He graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a double major in International Business and Marketing.
Currently enrolled in the Sauder School of Business, completing a certificate in project management, Raphael works in a business development role in the financial compliance sector. Raphael brings his experience in business development, and managing & executing marketing projects as the Communications and Marketing Director at UVA

Dr. Femi Ogunsanya

Founder/MD, Oxbridge Tutorial College
Former senior lecturer at the University of Lagos and Research Fellow at the University College London, Dr Olufemi Ogunsanya is the Founder/MD of Nigeria’s premier sixth form college – Oxbridge Tutorial College. Dr. Ogunsanya obtained her Ph.D in Microbiology from the University of Bristol and is very passionate about youth development and nation building. To give back, she serves on a number of boards and committees across Lagos State.

Mr. Femi Adesina

MD/Editor in Chief, Sun Newspapers
Seasoned and renowned journalist with over 28 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Adesina is the MD/Editor in Chief of the highest circulating newspaper in Nigeria – Sun Newspaper. Under his leadership, Sun Newspaper has won multiple reputable awards. In 2007, he was named the Editor of the Year by the Nigeria Media Merit Award. He also serves as the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.

Mrs. Sade Adefisayo

Director, Corona Secondary School
Merit Award winner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mrs. Sade Adefisayo is the Director of Corona Secondary School, Agbara. She has over 28 years of experience in the Finance and Banking industry and over eight years experience leading Nigeria’s oldest private school council – Corona Schools’ Trust Council. Mrs. Adefisayo is a seasoned professional with a passion for education and human development.

Mrs. Adijat Olopade

Business Development Manager, First Bank of Nigeria
Happily married with two lovely boys who are the centre of her life, Mrs. Adijat Bolanle Olaniyi- Olopade is the Business Development Manager for one of the business regions of Nigeria’s oldest bank – First Bank of Nigeria. She is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School and obtained her MBA from the University of Lagos. Mrs. Olaniyi-Olopade is passionate about people, mentoring and knowledge sharing. Amongst other things, She enjoys dancing.

Mrs Obaro is the CEO of Maple Education Canada Inc, a Canadian Immigration consultancy firm that has being in business for over ten years with offices in Canada, Lagos, Abuja & Port-Harcourt. Mrs Obaro is passionate about Canadian Education and the opportunities that Canada has to offer.
